I had the privilege of working with Jewel Hair Design, Le Mariee Makeup Artistry, and Scott Henderson last week to help Julie Flury of Jewel Hair Design debut her new hair designer, Kirsten Eike. I even got to model a bit myself AND got into my wedding dress after 5 years (w00t!)
It was amazing being pampered for the shoot. I cannot stress enough the value of hair and makeup being done professionally before you get in front of the camera. I would love to offer it for new moms who wish to be in portraits with their newborns!

Last October, I got to assist at a super fun wedding! The guests were amazing dancers and everyone was so funny and friendly. I had a great time. I love getting to do what I LOVE while also celebrating others in LOVE. Congratulations B & I!

I fell in LOVE with this one. I am always drawn to the flower girls– I guess because I am a child photographer!

Happy New Year! I can’t wait to photograph more awesome people this year! And I want to start right away, so I am extending my 50% off special through March 1st! You have to sign a model release to get these amazing prices.
I know it’s cold out there, so dress up your child’s outerwear with cute knits and peacoats with layers underneath. Or if you have a house with a lot of windows and pretty light, we can do it there!
Newborns can be at your house or mine. It’s a lot easier to find light for tiny babies.

I got to second shoot another wedding last weekend with Scott Henderson Photography. (If you hire him for your wedding, then you get ME too! Bonus!) I love second shooting because I only have to import and edit the photos I love! 100 is so much more manageable than 1k.
The bride was beautiful, the groom was so nice, and the venues were a dream! It was perfect.
Congratulations to Julie and David!
I also got to play with my new Lensbaby! I love how imperfect it is.
