This little sweetie is so beautiful. But she does not like sleeping, so mama and I worked hard for a few blissful minutes of baby posing. However, when she did sleep, she was a champion poser for me! Congratulations W Family! She is just wonderful!

So, my friend, Michelle, is awesome. And she is going to be starting her business soon! We went out on the town in Leesburg to take a few photos for our websites. We both would love to shoot some preteens/high school seniors/engaged couples/models… People who follow direction! So we practiced our best model moves and Tyra fierceness in alleys and doorways and parking garages.
She is so much better at posing than me and it was easy to make her look like a totally hawt mama. I love that she is amazing at posing because now I look like I am amazing at directing! I think she may have taken Delilah’s place as my muse.

I love watching kids just run and jump and play. I especially love when they can do all those things and the light is just beautiful and there is no “noise” or clutter in the background.
I finally found a pocket of golden light in my neighborhood free of houses and cars and highways.

I took my daughter to the park yesterday to search for blooming blossoms on some pretty trees. The trees in our yard are just gorgeous, but they are surrounded by clutter not suitable for portraits. I didn’t find any blossoms at the park, but it was green! Imagine these without those pink pants on her…she refused to listen to my wardrobe requests.
Looks like I will need to take a sunrise trip to the Cherry Blossoms.
