I skipped day 23 because was just finding and posting an old Facebook photo. I want to *TAKE* pictures.

This is a picture of Archie and I in the place that we first met–our bed. I had Delilah on the floor next to the bed two years earlier.

So, I let the project fall to the wayside. My typical m.o. I get a bit disorganized, miss a day doing something, get overwhelmed, and just let it go forever.

This project got overwhelming when I was supposed to take a photo of staying in. Well, my husband isn’t home during the pretty light. So I skipped a day. (Here is Archie and I staying in today.)
17:

Then we were supposed to go out and have a stranger snap a picture of us in auto mode. Date night? HAH! Let a stranger touch my camera? HAH! auto mode? no such thing. So, here is Delilah as Brian (see the beard?) and me out on a date.
18:

Day 19 was “when they’re gone”. This was just pure laziness. I hadn’t done 17 & 18, so I wasn’t going to skip! The horror!
When my kids are gone, we make the food actually taste good to us. With these things–and more. And then I still have to add in more chili. Because brian is a wuss.
19:

And “When they’re here” there is a lot of tantrums. I like to email with my clients, so they cannot hear the screams.
20:

My babies’ “hands.”
21:

And TODAY’s! I am all caught up!
A face. Just a PORTRAIT of my daughter. And the attempts to get a non-creepy one.

It was so cold out that day, but this session was still a dream. These little girls were never quite happy at the same time, but I still got some delightful moments with both of them. I loved the textures and bright colors they were wearing, and mama even brought a gorgeous quilt. I am on a search for one like it for me!
A cold photo shoot is never quite comfortable, but it is also amazing because the moments you capture while kids snuggle up to their parents trying to get warm are simply magical.

I printed Archie’s cake smash storyboard on a beveled gallery mount. The photo is sealed with laminate to wood. And it’s ready to hang!
I think they look amazing with storyboards and will be adding them to the store as an upgrade from the styrene mounted storyboards.

I chose the one time to try a portrait with Archie that he *didn’t* want to nurse! So here I am forcing him to sit with me for one second…(1/200 of a second). I thought I would get a beautiful nursing portrait. HA.

Oh well, he is still super cute.

I am not the smile-sensuously-at-the-camera-while-blowing-a-smoldering-kiss-to-my-man type. I also have a lady ‘stache and need to get to the salon soon. So, I decided to fishy kiss him while thinking, “come home and save me!”
He got me a remote (again) for Valentine’s Day and the kids were all about posing running to the LCD screen every time they heard the shudder.

and the out takes– trying to get my kids to kiss me.

I love any excuse to use my macro lens.

Here is my heart-shaped ebay engagement ring. And my Jared wedding band. We went to Jared!
I wanted a heart diamond so bad. I probably would have said no if he had put anything else on my hand.

My daughter’s *thing* right now is crafts (sounds like “crapts”). She will go up to Nana’s room and disappear for hours. She sits and colors and glues construction paper; and sticks stickers on things.

Yesterday wasn’t quite routine since it was a weekend. But they sat and did Valentine crafts at the kitchen table.

I wish I had photographed Brian, Archie and I at Angeethi, our favorite Indian restaurant. We go every Sunday while Delilah is at church with Nana. We have started calling it Church.

My Loves’ Eyes.
Archie at 14 months.
Delilah at 3 years 3 months.
Brian at a lot of months.

I couldn’t think of anything Brian talks about doing a lot besides buying a house, having two cars we love, or affording preschool for the kids and a studio for me. But I do know we are both the happiest when we are going somewhere new. We talk about going to London for a week every year, but there is always something we need more. We get so depressed not being in Europe or Disney World. And he is always saying he just wants to GO somewhere. At this point, I think we would both take NYC or LA or Toronto. (Can you tell we like the city and excitement? I went to Dublin in 2005 and was so bored at the slooowness.)
