Yesterday, we took a trip down to Williamsburg for the day. We have been trying to get to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens all month, but we got sick. Yesterday, we had tickets for a dinner with Santa. (Downsizing from our big pre-christmas trip we had planned complete with front of the line passes.) This time, snow was our nemesis and we have officially given up on Christmas Town. I’m disappointed, but not as much as I would be if they didn’t refund all our money.

We went over to Colonial Williamsburg instead and I snapped some pictures of my baby in the snow. The storm totally missed us in Northern Virginia, so she was ecstatic to play in the white stuff.

My husband is about to get the children all snug in their beds and I am going to clean and wrap all the presents–while watching a Christmas movie of course! Happy Holidays!

Today I did my little man’s first birthday portraits. I had high hopes for today–dreamt of smashed cake for a week. It could have gone better–mostly because my kitchen was so tight. I huddled under the kitchen table to get these shots. But I consider it a successful session. I will have to photograph him in his too-cute birthday onesie another day. I’m going to try a different setup for that, so I can get more light.

Happy 1st  Birthday Archie!

On a beautiful, warm day in November I got to photograph beautiful, little V and her parents! I am really missing that weather as I look at these photos. December is being much too cold for me. I had so much fun with this family.
